Only befitting that it'd take me exactly one year to write a new journal entry.
I've usually got a habit of writing ridiculously long posts, but this time, I'll break the trend and it keep it short. For, you know, all the people who bothers with reading my journal.
First order of business: if you didn't already find from one of my deviations, I'll be making monies again in my local anime convention. Anime Evolution? Nope, Anime
Revolution. It's a new convention in town, but it seems promising already.
Now that I'm 100% sure that I'm attending (not like when I went to AE and was confirmed a couple of months before the con), I now need to focus on the art. I've got 0 new things to sell as I don't really draw enough good fanart. I'll probably draw some Zelda, though, for two very important reasons: I think Zelda's awesome, and other people think Zelda's awesome.
Did I mention I got obsessed with Skyward Sword? Because I did. Because it's awesome.I'm tossing around the possibility of (re)starting commissions, but I've got two big problems: I'm lazy, and I don't have a Paypal. But on the other hand, spare change is always nice. I'll see how my motivation is in 2012. Best to keep transactions in real life as opposed to online.
Would anyone even be interested?I also want to make myself a portfolio website thinger, because all the portfolio workshops tell me I should. But same two problems exist, but mainly the first problem of being lazy.
Ughh, I think that's about it about art. Life's fine. Finished first semester of university, and I am so glad that I'm not busting my ass on something difficult like sciences. Nope, instead, I'm playing games during my breaks because I can. Productivity at its finest. I don't know what I'm going to do when the work load finally piles up.
Anywho, that's enough for one post! Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and will have an awesome New Year!
Because it'll be our last. And in the words of my previous post:
Onto
2011 2012!
